Siemens officially launched the Siemens Xcelerator API World during the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE). Through the new digital software integration architecture built by API World, the open digital business platform Siemens Xcelerator can efficiently empower developers, simplify the development process of digital joint solutions, and display their business capabilities and services in the form of API products and online trading. Promote the implementation of digital service business models in a flexible and open way, and accelerate the digital transformation of enterprises.
At the same time, Siemens and AI large model startup Beijing Zhipu Huazhang Technology Co., LTD. (referred to as “Zhipu”) jointly announced that Zhipu GLM large model algorithm service launched Siemens Xcelerator API World. The model service can provide a number of API interfaces such as long text intelligent dialogue ChatGLM and Vincennes Chart CogView, allowing developers to easily integrate it into various applications. For Zhipu, its advanced artificial intelligence technology can better land in industrial scenarios, thus expanding market potential. For API World, the introduction of the Smart language model means a more open ecosystem to jointly provide local smes with better quality and cost-effective digital solutions. Cooperation between the two sides can enable more smes to upgrade the level of intelligence. For example, Anhui Jiaotai Intelligent Technology Co., LTD., an industrial intelligent service solution provider, can efficiently develop digital solutions with the blessing of artificial intelligence technology by calling the intelligent spectrum large model service interface on API World, and achieve accurate status recognition and paperless inspection records in scenarios such as distribution cabinet inspection.

API World has launched nearly 50 API services and more than 300 interfaces in the public beta phase, covering digital application scenarios in multiple industries such as automotive, electronics and electrical, and food and beverage, of which API services from third-party partners account for nearly half.
Serviceability: Through a microservices business model, API World provides on-demand invocation services. Compared with traditional engineering digital packaging products, API services are charged per time, and the cost performance and operation convenience are significantly improved. Based on the spillover effect of the Expo, Siemens Xcelerator has made a lot of progress: at present, the number of partners has exceeded 110, covering the four major fields of robotics and automation, software, AI industry application and knowledge education, and more than 30 joint solutions have been launched, and the platform has accumulated more than 330,000 registered users.
